Steve,
Here's a rough out wade saddle on a Keith Gertsch tree I just finished with my new Cobra Class 4. My machine is quiet, easy to run, makes a nice tight stitch, and doesn't miss stitches even when sewing the sheep skin onto the skirts. Great machine!

Steve, as I was talking to you about earlier today, here's a photo of the piece of leather that I wrapped around a curve cut into plastic. then I sewed it with the gorgeous Cobra. It's beautiful! Like butter....

These projects were made using the COBRA Class 18.
Hi Steve,
I've been looking for the right machine for about a year. Looked at quite a few in Sheridan last year. The class 18 does just what I need and a little more. It sews through a couple layers of 8-9 oz leather like it is butter. I'm still a newbie, I've been doing leather work for about two years and getting a machine has made life a lot easier. These fine wallets were made by Allen Meadows using a COBRA Class 17 machine he bought at the Witchita Falls Boot and Saddle Show. It is/was the first sewing machine I have owned and works fantastically for the type of work I do. Being the first machine I've owned it has been a quick learning curve and I have Steve to thank for that. He has been available to answer my questions and the occasional chat about baseball has been fun as well. I look forward to my most recent purchase arriving a Cobra NP 4 Skiving machine.
The first wallet is black elephant with an orange stingray inlay. Second is a cowhide with brass knuckles. Third is a Moleskine cover made from shark.

Steve:
As promised, attached are a few photos of work done on the new Cobra Class 4 machine. These show a few individual holsters and accessories, as well as a production run of 28 items completed over the course of 3 days.
The Class 4 is a fine piece of equipment with capabilities far beyond anything I will ever need. Set up was easy, completed in 85 minutes. After a few minutes of practice I finished up my first production piece within 2 hours of unpacking the machine.
I can highly recommend the Cobra Class 4, and there is no one better to deal with than Steve at Leather Machine Company.
Best regards,
